Connecting Success.ai with your preferred email providers or SMTP services, such as Mailgun or Sendgrid, is just as easy as linking Gmail and Outlook accounts. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you effortlessly set it up.

Start by heading to the email accounts section:

Click on "Add new email account."

Choose "Any Email Provider."

You will be then be prompted to select if you want to do a bulk importation or individual. If you select the bulk one you will have to enter the account details in a sheet and upload this but for the individual account you will need to fill this manually.

For the individual account setup, you will need to fill out the details below:

Fill in the account details (firstname, lastname, email) to be displayed.

Next you will be prompted to enter your imap details as shown above. The username is the username details used to login to your email account. In cases of mailgun or sendgrid, this can be different.

While Mailgun or Sendgrid are good at sending emails, they do not receive emails directly and such do not support Imap. But this isn't a problem they have a feature called routing that allows you forward any incoming email that is sent to their address to a proper mailbox that has imap.

In this case you need to configure mailgun or sendgrid or Amazon SES to forward receiving email to an email you own that support imap. Once that is done, you need to fill out the email details above. Please note that if you are using Gmail you will need to provide an app password instead of using your regular password. Once done click on next.

Then the final step you will be prompted to enter your SMTP details:

For this you need to enter the username, password, host and host. SMTP is supported by mailgun, Sendgrid and most mail providers for sending emails so you can fill out the details just fine.Please note that if you are using Sendgrid or Mailgun, your SMTP details will be different from the imap details and that won’t affect anything as long as the account detail are provided.

Once you fill this out click on connect and the new account will show up in the email tab ready to use.

If you opted for bulk, create a sheet similar to the sample provided as seen below.

The sheet should contain all necessary details to connect to various accounts.
