Planning to connect a bunch of emails and don't want to go through the hassle one by one? Good news – Success.ai has your back! We've got a cool feature that lets you import emails in bulk using a CSV file. Ready to make things super easy? Let's do this step by step!

Step 1: Duplicate the Magic Sheet! 📑✨

First things first, you need to create a copy of this awesome sample sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1E6P1PugqfwXZNatqKvxnOW06PjLrFJXH4EfnaVxMe9I/edit#gid=0

It's like getting a magical recipe to connect all your emails in one go! Once you've got your duplicate, replace the dummy details with the real ones.

Ready for the next spell? Let's dive into the details! 🚀🌈

Please take note of the following when filling out the sheet.

  • Email, First Name, and Last Name: Fill in your email address, your first name, and your last name. It's like introducing yourself in the magical email world!

  • IMAP Username: This is usually your full email address. For example, if your email is [email protected], that's what you put here.

  • IMAP Password: Your email's password goes here. If it's a Gmail account, create an app password. And remember, avoid commas in your password to keep things flowing smoothly!

  • IMAP Host: The IMAP host is the domain that points to the IMAP server. For gmail it’s usually imap.gmail.com. For Outlook it’s outlook.office365.com and if you use other mail providers you will need to reach out to them for configuration details.

  • IMAP Port: The next column is the IMAP port which is 993 for secure connections.

  • SMTP Username and Password: For SMTP, the username is similar to the full email address. Password should also be your email's password and remember if it's Gmail, reuse the app password from IMAP earlier.

  • SMTP Host: The SMTP host for Gmail is smtp.gmail.com and outlook smtp-mail.outlook.com. For other mail providers please contact them to share their configurations with you.

  • SMTP Port: We also recommend 465 for the port as this is used for a secure connection.

  • Daily Limit: In the daily limit column, you can use 30 or whatever value you want for the maximum number of emails that should be sent with the email account.

  • Warmup Enable (TRUE/FALSE): Warmup enabled if set to TRUE means warmup will be enabled for the said account.

  • Warmup Limit: This is the maximum number of warmup emails daily that should be sent from this email.

  • Warmup Increment: Lastly, the warmup increment is for how many emails you want the warmup to increase by. If you want to start warming up with 2 emails and the next day 3, 4, 5, and so on, you can leave the value here as 1. This way it increases the number of warmup emails being sent daily by 1.

Also, one more thing you should take note of is the spaces in between the rows as seen below:

So you can see rows 2, 4, and 6 all are empty. So if you intend to add a new row, ensure the previous row is left blank in the same precedence.

Lastly, download the sheet in CSV as seen here:

Step 2: Now head to the Email account on the Success.ai dashboard:

Then from the option select Any Email Provider:

Then select import from CSV in bulk:

Now you will be redirected to upload the CSV that you recently downloaded:

After uploading the first row data from row 3 will be displayed as a sample as seen below. The idea is to ensure the fields are properly matched to the data in the sheet:

Once you’ve confirmed the details are correct scroll down and you will see the list of emails that were detected:

Now it shows pending, click on the upload button and the upload should begin right away.

\

That’s it. You should see the connected text close to each of the emails as long as there is no issue.
